Bottle 0,5l BB 06.2012. Color is dark brown, with red glow against the light. Head is beige white and laces little. Smells of rosty malts, caramel, raisin or plums. Palate is slick mouthful with full-bodied texture. Carbonation is smooth soft in the mouth. Taste is dry, roasty malty, with light bitter end from hops. Finish is tart, crispy and has also some winy flavours. Overall quite ok, balanced Dunkel with good texture and decent flavours.

50cl swingtop bottle from a friend.
Decent white head. Clear amber pour. Nice refreshing dunkel. I was expecting something heavier for a winter beer. Borresteijn (7491) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 29, 2012
50cl Swingtop bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear dark amber brown colour, off white head. Aroma of cocoa, nuts, a bit of stale hops, grain, some caramel. Flavour is light sweet, nutty bitter, light malty, cocoa, light grainy, papery hops, bitter finish. Light bodied. Ok, not great. Oakes (18843) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 19, 2012
Probably what I had, given it was a dunkel and the month of February. Medium brown. Has a mild, malty, slightly chocolatey aroma. Lightly nutty character. Authentic but not the most complex dunkel. stobbe74 (3790) - DENMARK - FEB 17, 2012
Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt and caramel. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of alcohol. The palate is bitterness with notes of sweetness. Overall an average beer. Grzesiek79 (4435) - Radom, POLAND - JAN 30, 2012
