pivo (2688) - GERMANY - JAN 4, 2003
Smells like sweet wet hay, caramle amber color, disappating head. Warm maltiness fills the mouth quickly and offers a slighlty spicy taste in the middle before finishing with a long pepperiness. Thin-ish, clean palate and crisp. Not so wintery - could use more spiciness and Chutzpah in general. Otherwise good.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Nice bitter/sweet flavor. Very fruity. Avegae bitter finish. Watery but nice palate.

[bottle--thanks cgreb!] Sweet brown sugar and bread crust aroma that is not very strong and has some faint banana. Clear dark brown under wispy white. Bitter bread crust flavour with again, a faint banana note. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish.

Poured clear brown with a small creamy off white head. Moderated aroma and flavor with some roasted malt, toasted caramel, sourish yeast. I expected more...

stobbe74 (3790) - DENMARK - FEB 17, 2012
Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt and caramel. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of alcohol. The palate is bitterness with notes of sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Probably what I had, given it was a dunkel and the month of February. Medium brown. Has a mild, malty, slightly chocolatey aroma. Lightly nutty character. Authentic but not the most complex dunkel.

On tap at Epcot. Pours dark brown with a small, bubbly head. The aroma is light toastiness, caramel, and black bread. Tastes sweet, with mild bitterness and little sour note in the finish. Feels medium, sticky and finishes clean. Overall, this is a fair, drinkable, and pleasant beer. Nothing special, but not bad.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Has some aroma of caramel and dark malt. Not full bodied but worth a try with some aroma of roasted malt.
