5 EBC 28 EBU. Helder blond met witte schuimkraag. Geur: mout en gistkarakter. Smaak: licht bitter. Licht mondgevoel. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Smaakt en drinkt als een pils. mike_77 (6661) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - FEB 22, 2016
Pale blond appearance. Aroma and flavour have light yeasty, bready notes. Grainy taste with a light bitterness and a clean finish. Quite flavoursome for a beer of this strength. deanso (10132) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - FEB 17, 2016

Bottle shared. Cloudy yellow light brown with a white head. Aroma is oxidized, a little funky, dough, herbs and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet, light moderate bitter and light sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation. kraddel (8110) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 14, 2015
Gusher ! Pours unclear blonde, small white head ( expected a gigantic one haha ) Smell is sharp, smells like ... I know this sounds weird, but bricks that were cut. That kind of massive, clay-dust-like scent. Weird ! Taste is sharp, bitter, somewhat sweet ( honey-like ) somewhat spiced almost, like spicy mead. Funky bitter yeastyness. Not very malty, not hoppy. Turns out very strange, even though there are no clear notes of infection or others brewflaw’s I could recognize. Fun to try, even though I don’t think its great.

Stereotypical Belgian medium-strength blonde, in that it openly tries to compete with ’pils’ (as standard golden lagers are called in dutch), as a top-fermented alternative. Since 2008. Sticky, snow white, stable foam, colour a yellow blonde with greenish hue. Bready and very timidly fruity nose, smelling of cheese spread, freshly peeled potatoes, grain, carboard; tastes grainy, dry with only a shy and brief fruitiness, rather thin mouthfeel, a bit marred by a cardboard flavour and in the finish somewhat astringent solvents but little hop bitterness. I sincerely hope this has improved since I first tasted it, because in this shape, I would even prefer a bland Belgian ’pils’ over this unbalanced and even unpleasant ale.
