Clear blond beer, aery white irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: hay, grains, some spices, hint of orange peel, a hint of sewer (sulfur?). MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, orange peel, spices, hoppy touch, bit of sugar. Aftertaste: little bitter, citrus, malty, some sugar. Het Alternatief collection: complete! ;-)
Thanks to tderoeck for sharing the bottle. Blonde ale, clear yellow, white head, looks "plain". Light pleasant aroma, light lacing. Very drinkable beer with lightly bitter taste profile and a mild alcoholic finish, but not particularly interesting. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - FEB 20, 2012
33cl, exclusive brew, from De Bierloods Adegem, not complex brew, malty and slightly floral/sweet, easy to drink, balanced, hazy, good head, simple brew JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - JAN 10, 2012
Frothy, finely bubbled white head over copperish-golden, clear beer. Bit oxydized nose, malty, very faintly spiced, notes of springblossoms. Bitterish-spicy onset, going over in honeyish-floral taste, never really sweet. Unbalanced impression, again some signs of oxydation. Spritzy, light body, slick. Not bad - strange. Signs of aging everywhere; nose, taste, and even the tatty looking label, bearing the sign 2000... But the crowncork indicates it’s still ’good’ for another 7 months... ??
