Growler, shared tasting with Christian. Pours a medium ivory head, with some lacing, over a slightly hazy, amber (SRM 12) body....nose is heavy pie spice, with clove, allspice hints of cereal....taste is heavy spices, hints of cereal malts, light pumpkin, light hop presence, minimal sweetness....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation low. This is a fairly typical Pumpkin Ale. Spices are a bit heavy, and a little trite, but not unusual. BJCP 6/4/11/4/6 Gription79 (2886) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - OCT 17, 2013

GABF 2009. Pours clear orange with an average, frothy white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, straw), light hop (herbs), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, and pumpkin. Medium bodied, thin texture, soft carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - AUG 4, 2009
GABF 2008 - This was very nice for the style, which I am generally not a big fan of. Really well done with the spice profile, mingles well with the caramel malt background. Allspice, clove and cinnamon, with some warm honey and sweet caramel. A definite sipper. MaltDawg (1344) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2009
