Very good beer. The beer is more focus on the malt taste witch I find very good, not so much bitterness... that’s a beer that we can drink all day!

Earthy fruit aroma. Red amber colour, creamy off-white head. Grainy malt, earthy fruit, peach. Medium to light body, smooth mouthfeel. Brilliant beer!

(Rating #3852)

On tap. Reddish dark orange body, beige head. Aroma of cherry, peach, floral hops and caramel. Taste is like the aroma. Lots of cherry and caramel with some peach, caramel and toast. Malty but the finish is slightly bitter. Medium body, very easy to drink. Really nice beer.

bastarda (507) - Freiburg, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2015
shared with Konfuzzi; nose: all sorts of caramel malts; silky, chewy mouthfeel with just the right amount of carbonation; a lot of caramel and tender wildflower honey, but not cloying at all; some herbal/British notes, either from the hops or the caramel malts; some floral hints; a thouroughly well done, balanced, tender beer.

Pours hazy dark copper-amber with frothy off white head. Moderate head retention, some good lacing. Roasty, spicy, licorice nose. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is caramel, licorice, sweet, malty. Smooth and enjoyable, nice session beer.

On Tap @ the brewpub. The head is medium, the body red. It tastes malty, hoppy, amber, flowery. In the aftertaste a bit bitter. Ok 10/12/13/11/-/12
