Frisch vom Hahn in der Altstadthofbrauerei getrunken. Sieht interessant aus, ist aber dann doch ehe gewöhnliche Weisse.

Keg @Altstadthof, Nuremberg. 08-08-2016.
Pours quite hazy orange with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Really strong banana aromas, some sweet gum nose. Medium body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is sweet, strong banana, spicy.

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass dark brown, light red. Fine creamy head. Starts mild-malty, fine yeasty, notes of some cookies. Finish mild, almost a bit washy. Could be more complex. Okay.

Wenig malziger Antrunk, leicht hefig. Spritzig, etwas herb, schnell deutlich milder werdend. Zum Ende sogar entäuschend laff, noch wenig bananig hefig. 12/9/9/6//7

Tap @ brewpub 01/02/13. Pours a hazy, dark auburn with a medium, beige-colored head. Aroma is caramel, banana, wheat, light cloves. Taste begins light sweet, but turns drier as it progresses. It is also a bit sour with apple and cherry. There’s a light caramel and roast there as well as banana. Interesting. Palate is light, a bit mouth-puckering, not much carbonation. Good.
