COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Collaboration originally brewed with Track 7 for their 5th Anniversary, brought back for Sacramento Beer Week! This is an "imperial" Kettle Sour ale brewed with mandarin oranges & apricots. Super juicy, intense tartness, huge flavors and aromas of citrus and stone fruit. At just over eight percent abv, the alcohol is hidden while the vitamin C perception is high; you may forgot you're drinking beer!

Cloudy orange pour at Humble Sea. Big citrus and stone fruit nose. Moderately tart with off setting sweetness. Light funky apricot finish. Very nice.

(En fût à Bottlecraft): Yogourt au fruits tropicaux avec une acidité spectaculairement tout en rondeur. Le savoir-faire d'Alvarado avec les lactobacillus se trouve ici.

Can from Toronado. Hazy yellow color, white head. Sour taste with wheat, tart, apricot, citrus, a bit of grass and earthy notes. Sour finish with wheat, tart, apricot, citrus, earthy notes and a bit of vinegar. Good sour ale, but not very special.

Pint can. The beer is a murky yellow orange tan color, pretty much clouded through. Fizzy white head that dissipates to not much pretty quickly. The aroma is fairly mild. Light apricot sweetness with orange peel and a little bit of lacto-ish sour flavor. The taste is a big, bright explosion of tart fruit juice flavor. It’s big on sour mandarin orange juice flavor with some apricot complexity. The tartness is kinda yogurty but more just fruit sour, if that makes sense. Effervescent carbonation. Light body with some fruity feel. Fun beer. Enjoyable.

Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of slightly sourish pale stone fruits. Med body. Flavor is slightly pedio(?) sour apricot/peach. Seems to have a citrus touch. A bit strong sour, but not very harsh, if at all. Fruit hangs in well into the finish.

Can. Apricot colored pour. Aroma is mandarin and lime rind. Flavor is moderate to heavy sour. Flavor includes mandarin, sour apricot and a slightly astringent bitterness that I can’t quite label. Thicker mouthfeel. Light to medium amount of carbonation. A good beer.

On tap at Alvarado Street. Pours hazy gold with a nice white head and a citrus aroma. There is a moderately sour pale malt flavor with a tart fruity finish.
