750 ml bottle shared at the Utah holiday tasting. It was filled with notes of plums, port, vinous/tart, malty, and vanilla. An amazing beer. This was a highlight of the tasting for me. Another please.

An interesting beer we got from Belgium. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is very vinous with some strawberries and tartness. A sweet vinous brew with some caramel and dusty yeast, a bit of lacto and sourness but very smooth. Dry. Quite nice.

bottle 66cl from Alvinne Biershop. Batch#2, from 2009, bottled in June 2010.

Bottle @ Craft Beer Co., London. Dark copper to light red color, no head. Smell sour, red fruits, lightly grapes, slightly musty. Taste light to medium sour. Nice round taste, no harsh sourness. Some grapes and lightly wood as well. Good carbo, full body.

Draft at Churchkey. Nose holds big concord grape jelly, a touch of raspberry, and good tart dark cherry presence. The flavor adds more fruit like currant, red grape, and some vinous notes. Light and palatable. Decent.

Churchkeys menu says "Sour Ale Aged in French Burgundy Wine Barrels w/ Dutch Blue Boskoop Glory Grapes" - so Im assuming this is it. Poured a brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was sour grape notes, yeasty funk, touch of berry Id guess. Pretty enjoyable.

A: The beer pours a murky reddish amber color with a very small off-white head. S: You can definitely smell the grapes on this one. There are also some light raspberry notes to it. A decent amount of wood as well as some lemon juice and zest. Overall, sort of a simple aroma. T: A light oak flavor along with some decent tartness, mostly in the form of lemon. A fair amount of grape flavor as well as just a mild vinegar sourness. A little sweetness of grape juice on the back end. M: Medium in body with low to medium carbonation. O: This was just an okay beer. It didnt offend in anyway, but I wouldnt order it again.
