UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/24/10] Bottle at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Dark reddish brown. Aroma of barnyard, cherries, oak and some more fruits. Dark nut brown, reddish color, no head. Sour nose with strong aroma of red wine. Light to medium bodied. Easier than the most Alvinne barrel cask brews: red wineous tannines, sourness - but not too much of bretta, some oak and cellar. Grapes are evident in this beer. Quite balanced "red wine beer".
Bottle @ BBF. Aroma has lots of brett and wine.
Flavour is very mild sourness with a nice malt profile.
Smooth, subtle and highly drinkable. cgarvieuk (24462) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2010
