Bottle. [thank you, Harrisoni]Meilby (11790) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2016
Pours lightly hazy copper-red with a fine, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has some tart fruit notes, clear green grapes, oak, red wine, light raspberries and a touch of caramel. Highish carbonation, a bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly tart, some caramel, lots of oak, good fruitiness, grapes, peach. Light lemony and very dry finish. Fine, but it might have fared better with another percent in alcohol?

Hazy dark copper color, off-white head. Sweet and acidic scent. Semi sweet, dry, wood, acidic, currants taste. Moussy mouthfeel, very low bitterness.
2009-08-01. Hazy pastel golden body body, modest beige head. (3+) Interesting aroma, fruit/wood/bourbon? (6+) Flavour is a bit muddled, light sour touches, wood, mild malt is odd. Average palate. Meh. Okay, but muddled at times, doesn’t come together very well at times. Bottle at BCTC marcus (10865) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 21, 2009
Bottle at the brewery. This copper ale poured with a decent beige head and a delightlful oak aroma. The wild yeast provides a delicious sourness to the mild base. It is a very subtle but well-crafted flavor that has benefited from 8 months in a burgundy barrel. olio (10669) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 29, 2011

Little cloudy amber to orange beer, small white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sour, vinegar, bretta, grains, bit sweet, caramel. MF: ok carbon, a bit much maby, light to medium body. Taste: sour start, green apples, lemony, bretta touch, some alcohol, woody, oak, little bitter. Aftertaste: woody, red wine vinegar if not so sour though, a nice sourness, bit bretty, dry, little bitter. A very nice and balanced sour beer!
