Tasted at the big “SeaBass has got to go” tasting courtesy of fogdog. Pours murky deep copper with thin white head. The aroma is tart and berry like along with some sour and tart crushed aspirin. The taste is thin on the palate and pulls up notes of berry tartness or maybe cranberry along with tart and drying and almost chalky tart crushed aspirin. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 12, 2011
A: The beer pours a murky reddish amber color with a very small off-white head.
S: You can definitely smell the grapes on this one. There are also some light raspberry notes to it. A decent amount of wood as well as some lemon juice and zest. Overall, sort of a simple aroma.
T: A light oak flavor along with some decent tartness, mostly in the form of lemon. A fair amount of grape flavor as well as just a mild vinegar sourness. A little sweetness of grape juice on the back end.
M: Medium in body with low to medium carbonation.
O: This was just an okay beer. It didn’t offend in anyway, but I wouldn’t order it again.
