Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig 2012. Cloudy reddish-brown pour with a thin white head. Sour cherry and raspberry aroma. Fruity old nose. Sour woody flavours of cherries, wood with a lingering sweetness. Sour fruit finish.

[email protected] pre-gbbf-shindig 2012. Mediumzied off-white head on a murky brown coloured fluid. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mild tartness as well as some slight spicy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, a bit sour and some spicy and caramelly notes as well.

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF tasting. It pours deep murky brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is raisin, cherry, prune, date, red grape, wood, caramel and a hint of TCP. The taste is tangy fruit, red wine, grape skin, wood, caramel, vinegar, sharp lemon and moderate acidity, with a tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. An unclear chestnut brown with a small but lasting, heavy beiege head on the pour. Cherry, red berries & woody notes dominate with a background yeastiness. A bit restrained in terms of sourness. Medium body & carbonation, lingering & medium intensity sourness in the finish with a light fruit skin bitterness to balance. A nice firm, crispness on the palate.

Sampled from bottle @ HaandBryggeriet Beer Festival 2012. Dark brown, almost black body with a small off-white head. Aroma is acidic fruity, vinous with a hint of red berries. Flavor has acidic berries, fruit, chocolate, oak and balanced bitterness. Tart and refreshing, fine body and good aftertaste. Very nice.

0.75 L bottle. A low grey-shaded blond head, over near-clear deep brown colored body. Tart, light sour fruits and faint peppery caramel to the nose. A note of wood and alcohol. Well-bodied and slick int he mouth. Taste is light tart and fruity with a certain red wine –like character. Faint caramel malts and notes of earthy bittering hops. Tart, light acidic fruit ending.
