2010. Dark color, off-white head. Memories of alcohol and yeast, with overtones of biscuits. Nice.
At Borefts BF 2010. FRuity ESB style beer. English yeast on this? Biscuit. Fruity English ESB aroma. Doesn’t taste of 14% ABV at all. Full in mouth, not syrupy though, with jammy fruit. Biscuit and fruit works really well. Very impressive. Davey says needs age, but impressive now. Strawberry jam and biscuit is what I took away from this. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, winegum, malt and some sugar. Flavour of dried fruit and malt, with some yeast and alcohol notes JorisPPattyn (9928) - Ursel, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2010
Light but persistent gushing to huge, amber-beige head, pretty stable over opaque, dark brown-red beer. Roasted, but also fruity-vinous aromas; malts getting more and more dominant, always roasted. Much of the same in the mouth: fruity, yeasty, very roasted, with whiffs of nuts, sweat, solvent. Warming up, more roast & burnt, and also the sweaty component (no doubt a yeast product, cannot name it). Even later, this flavour retreats in favour of a more hoppy, non-USA hopsflavour. Bit aggressive MF, near-astringent, but very well-bodied and warming. Tastes very young, and if I’m slightly disappointed now, it’s definitely one to retaste with a new bottle in, say, a year or so... koekiesbakker (89) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2010
A bit sour and lots of sweetness, not enough to hide the alcohol though. Too much alcohol showing te be nice and drinkable. Malts and caramel, fruity. tderoeck (9471) - Gent, BELGIUM - NOV 18, 2010

Very dark but clear beer, thick beige creamy adhesive head, nice lacing. Aroma: sweet, dried fruits, alcohol (no shit), mocha, chocolate, forest fruit candy (for the Belgians: cuberdons). MF: nice carbon, creamy thick texture, full body. Taste: toasted malts, caramel, wood, mocha, red berries. Aftertaste mocha, coffee bitterness, caramel, red berries and hops.
