Cloudy dark brown beer. No real head. Light crisp dry palate. Very sweet and sour bubblegum. Sweet banana cream malt to back it up. Finishes dry. Drinks like half its abv! Good show!

Thankx to Erwin to share this one with me! Pours out very dark brown with a nice medium head, but just a lace stays. Smell is nice spicey, alcohol, sweetness, lots of candy-sweetness, frtuis. Decent smell for sure, maye a bit to sweet. More sourness at the taste then expected, a bit of an unpleasant sourness, its not overwhelming, it just not totally fitting at the taste it seems. Besides that... some sweetness comes trough, earhty, frtuis, candy-sucre. Its ok, drinks nice, but the smell is better for sure. Some yeast also at the taste comes trough, makes the end a bit bitter-sour.

750 ml bottle courtesy of BigMomma, shared with steptin. Cloudy orange color, off white head. Aroma of dirt, summer fruits, raisins. Taste is a bit metallic, sweet/sour fruit. Not one of their best.

From corked bottle @ BBF 2010. Deep dark brown color. Roasted maltaroma with cellar notes. Roasted, alcoholic flavor with dried apple and grapes. Good, but not my favorite barley wine.

[email protected] Wonderful aroma but Im afraid another Alvinne beer that I dont get. Its a bit unbalanced and the yeast is too dominant.
