330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a hazy amber, minimal receding off-white head. Good fruity sauternes influence in the aroma. Quite full-bodied on the palate, smooth with prominent sauternes sweetness coming through the yeast and caramel malt. Some light spice. However, lacks clarity and comes off a little smooth and smudged.

330ml bottle, no bottling date. Hazy amber with no real head to speak of. Aroma predominantly of apple cider vinegar with some oak and vanilla. The taste is quite minerally, fruity apple and pear, sweet caramel, tart mid palate, boozy. Full bodied, slick, acidic tang, low carbonation. Interesting sour barleywine but too much mineral character to be completely enjoyable.

Pours an amber body with a very thin head. Sugary aroma with wooden tones. Taste is subtle sourness and barrel tones. A bit of balance but interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

January 2017 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Thanks Matteo! As ’Alvinne Cuvée d’Erpigny Sauternes BA’. Dark amber orange, hazy, foamy beige head. Aroma has white vinegar and gooseberry, faint chemical. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste has lots of booze up front, varnish and vinegar, astringent notes, spice. I mean this is harsh every way you look at it. Alvinne’s beers are either very impressive or too harsh, and unfortunately this one falls in the latter category. (2.7)

04/02/2017 - draught small glass @ Gainsbar, Kortrijk. Cloudy orange with small white lacing. Nose is rip fruits, bit yeast, sweetness. Taste is lots of ripe fruit (apricot), sweetness, bit boozy, some sourness, dry. Nice beer but I seem to like the Mortagne series more.

330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Murky amber color. Small size, white head, stays. Plastic, yeasty, white wine, berries in aroma. Yarrow, herbal, yeasty, dirty in taste. Yarrow in aftertaste. Fuckin messy stuff. Nope. Boozy too. Still nope.
