Recht süßer Beginn, der gerade noch ausgewogen ist. Deutliche Fassnoten, wenig malzig, unsüffig. Hefiges Finish. 8/10/8/9//9

Dark brown color with quite a lot of sediment; creamy head. Some aroma of alcohol, prunes, chocolate; fresh and inviting, delicate. Good body strength, with smooth mouthfeel, also because of the high carbonation; roasted malt flavor and chocolate, rich, with light accents of red wine, and correct bitterness.
It combines in a very elegant way te chocolate and the red wine characters.
Deep, intense, complex and well blended. Highly interesting.
Bottle shared at Craft Clerko, from thanks to Paulo - he had 5 guys the other night apparently ! 25/10/13.
Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a thin light beige covering.
Nose is dark fruits, toffee, oaky wood, tarte fruit notes, red wine, jammy soured berry mash.
Taste comprises brown sugars, jammy fruit, booze soaked oak, red wine streak, dark tofffee.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the finish.
Decent enough Quad, could not believe this was a 14% big boy - very well integrated. harrisoni (19341) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2016
On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Woody aroma. Bit smoother than the other version on. Heat without being too boozy. Woody some deep malts some biscuit toffee some dark fruits. For once i quite like a barrel aged beer. Ok. chrisv10 (18506) - DENMARK - APR 14, 2017

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of oak, dark fruit, caramel, plum wine and vinous notes. Medium body. yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 22, 2012
Bottle, at HaandFestival 2012. It pours a more or less black body, at least dark, dark brown, and is topped by a finger-thick beige head. The aroma has less alcohol than I’d expect from the ABV level, with some oak, dark berries, caramel and roased malts. Sweet and warming on the palate, wtih caramel, berries, some roasted malts and a hint of something reminiscent of pancakes. Full body, finishing bitter and warming, with a pleasant sweetness. Overall, too warm and sweet, but it’s a complex and tasteful beer anyway. 120504 Benzai (16690) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2012
Draught @ Borefts 12. Hazy orange color, small to medium sized off-white head. Smell malts, fairly sweet and slightly wood-ish. Taste malts, sweetish and winey. Nicely balanced. Medium to full body and relatively soft carbonation.

The beer is dark amber in color with an off-white head. A touch boozy on the nose with some caramel, wood, bourbon, and maple syrup notes. Just very sweet, but pretty nice. The flavor is similarly heavy on the sweetness. Tons of caramel, maple syrup, and vanilla. A bit of sweet wine and wood, too. bhensonb (15761) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours very darkly ruddy. Aroma seems tobacco/leather with darkish fruits. Med body. Flavor is raisins and light red wine. With leather and some wood. Finishes dry, red berry, woody. Quite nice.
