bierkoning (13810) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2012
Tap @ Borefts 2012. Ripe fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with lots of ripe and even candied fruit, hiding the alcohol.

Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2015
Poured from a bottle, 12.9 % abv, at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival 2015. Shared with Finn. Cloudy dark reddish body. Tiny head, spotty lacing. Sweet and dried fruity nose. Likewise, the taste profile is made up by rather sweet, dried fruits, hints of dough beneath. Vinous impression. Balanced by a little fruity tartness to the ending. Still too sweet. Boozy. Okay in smaller amounts (Drammen 30.05.2015).

Camons (13496) - Hasselager, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2017
Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy very dark brown with a small offwhite head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, belgian yeast, candy sugar, dried fruit, dates, little wood, little red wine, alcohol. Flavor is sweet, rich malt, caramel, rich candy sugar, dried fruit, notes of licorice, wood, light red wine, alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. 231217

Bov (13354) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 24, 2015
[email protected] Trappiste - hazy dark brown beer with a little foam left; aroma of plums, banana and wood; notes of pear and Cognac; full-bodied and highly sweet, tons of residual sweetness, figs, plums and other ripe fruits in a long woody aftertaste - very good but clearly too sweet for me to be great

Bottle, bought @ Zombier, Spain.
Pours deep brown, bordering on black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has dark chocolate, oak, red wine, raisins, plums, light vinious. Medium to low carbonation, very oily and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is complex, dark toasted caramel, dark chocolate with prunes and madeira. Lingering oak and red wine astringency. Lingering dry and vinious finish. Lovely, strong and complex.

Draught @ Haand Ølfestival 2013

77ships (11481) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2012
Bottle @ ZBF 2012 // dark brown going to black with close ton of head // smell is quite sweet & malt heavy, caramel, dark fruits, I am getting really gravy on this (vleesjus) // taste is gravy (definitely there in an amazing way), sweet, chocolate, thick malts, caramel, dark fruits, hints of liquorish & syrup, wood,… warming sure but boozy no // slick, substantial body, low carb. , definitely a sipper / would have preferred this at home as opposed to a festival but excellent & among best things Alvinne (probably best) has done so far
