Plovmand (8266) - Helsinge, DENMARK - APR 1, 2016
On tap at Bierhuyske, Antwerp. Pours dark ruby with small faint head. Loads of old oak and wooden aroma notes. Some cobweb. Quite sweet flavor with berry and oaky notes. Again the cobweb notes. Not really my thing.

Bottle purchased for off-sale at the Birch. Pours hazy ruby chestnut, medium fizzy brown head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, toffee, raisin, caramel, date, vinous, oaky. Flavor is full sweet, light bitter, malty and rich, cocoa, dark sugars, red wine. Full body, creamy. Solid.

jackl (8020) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Keg @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s completely still reddish brown. No head, not bubbles. The nose is spple, spiced mulled wine, some cocoa posder and red fruits. Te taste is sweet liquid cotton candy, some spiced fruits, more mulled wine and caramel. Hints of red grape and rich rotting wood (in a good way). Diverse, complex palate. Soft, very drinkable. Wow, what a beer. One of the best of the festival. Complex, rewarding character.

4 oz draft pour at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a dark brown color with a large off-white head. Aroma was roasted malts, dark fruit notes. Light woody character and red wine. Tart fruits. Sour cherry, red wine, plums. The alcohol is almost entirely hidden.

Cunningham (7860) - Halden, NORWAY - MAY 11, 2012
Deep brownish colour with a tan head. Sweet malt, fruity and a bit sour aroma. Rich sweet fruity, lots of caramel malt, and light sour flavour. To much alcohol.

(Rating #4774)

Marduk (7588) - Reval, ESTONIA - APR 13, 2016
500ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Hazy chestnut color. Tiny size, bubbly head, disappears. Fruity, apples, caramel, raspberry, sweet in aroma. Sweet, fruity, raisins, alcohol, touch of yeast in taste. Sweet raisins and sharp alcohol in aftertaste. Hopping is nice, but overall concept is way too boozy.

Finn (7513) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 3, 2015
Fra flaske på Haand Ølfestival 30 Mai 15. Delt med Rune. Mørk amber. Uklar. Filmskum. Søt fruktaroma. Smaken også søt. En del frukt. Alkoholen manifesteres nok gjennom overdreven sødme.
