Cant drink a lot of this in one sitting. Smells and tastes very nice but I can only handle it in limited quantites. I was struck by that there is almost no carbination, sometimes I forgot I was drinking a beer and felt like I was drinking a port wine.

olio (9773) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 23, 2017
Tap @ Gastropub Tuulensuu.
Pours hazy amber color with a large off-white head. Sweet ripe fruits on the nose, plums and raisins mostly, lots of caramel and molasses, subtle earthy notes and yeast. Flavor starts sticky sugary sweet, ripe fruits, caramel, molasses, faint licorice, spices and yeast, subtle sourish notes on the background. Some alcohol warmth at the end, lingering spicy and sweet aftertaste. Quite nice Quad with a mild sour twist.

Turboninja (685) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 11, 2017
[email protected], Tampere, Finland. Matured for at least 1 year in cellar.
Ar: Medium aroma with earthy nuances of cherry and some red berries.
Ap: Deep red color with light beige, creamy head.
Ta: Strong, averagely balanced taste with cellar flavored red berries, some slightly bitter malts, caramel and winery notes. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with sweetish malts and berries.
Pa: Medium/strong body with medium carbonation.
Ov: Overall, strong/earthy cellar notes makes this product distinctive. Sweet nuances probably dampen malts and makes the product slightly simple. Still, very good.

Aroma:
Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dark fruit, berries, chocolate, bread and roasted malts.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque dark orange/dark brown beer with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dark fruit, berries and chocolate; ends slightly? bitter and dry with bread and roasted malts.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Very sweet start with loads of fruit, with some roasted malts shining through at the end; creating a perfect chocolate in the middle as well.

Lore (2436) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 1, 2016
hazy brown colour with slight ruby notes, minimal off-white head - more like lacing than a real head; aroma of intensive red wine and oak barrel notes, overripe black sour cherry and dried plum soaked in cognac, and some alcohol; taste of intensive dry red wine, tannins, dried plum and cherry soaked in alcohol, burnt sugar, syrupy sweetness, maybe some herbal notes, too, a bit exaggerated alcohol and some brett-like sourness; good quadrupel, but not among the best ones Ive tried

Drank during Beer & Boots 18-9-2016. Some alcohol bitterness, but mainly a very rich candy-like taste. Good.

Bottle. Teku. Deep brown/reddish with small, semi-densed, light brown head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is very winey, slightly oaky with decent, noticeable malty notes - dark and burnt sugar, some caramel, raisins, woody. Taste is semi-sweet, which lasts till the end of degustation, ABV is very well hidden. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, finish is pure, woody. In general drinkable, taste like old good wine, very interesting and not so packed with malts, nicely balanced.

Muddy brown color with just a bit of beige foam. Aroma has brown sugar, caramel, dried dark fruits and some oak. Taste starts with sweet malt, dark fruits, caramel, booze and finishes slightly bitter with some dark chocolate and slightly roasted malt. Its quite good but a bit boozy for my taste.
