Tap sample @ Haand Festival 2013. Deep nut brown hazy body, medium creamy off-white head. Aroma is port wine, raisins, caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, hints of rum and toffee. Very nice. Taste is sweet caramel, raisins, wood, vanilla, honey, hints of oak and port wine. Creamy mouthfeel, full body and medium carbonation. Warming alcohol, yet hidden in taste despite the high ABV. Very nice, but a bit too sweet to reach the top rungs of the ladder. tderoeck (9471) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 25, 2013

Hazy dark brown with a light brown head - Aroma has malts , caramel , vanilla and some wood - good malt body with caramel , vanilla sweetness , some wood and spirits - sweet vanilla finish that lasts - This was very good and the alcohol level is well hidden Kilin (13) - BARCELONA, - OCT 28, 2013

Appearance: Dark ruby red with hardly a head
Aroma: port, dry sherry, dates, prunes and red berries
Taste: Follows the Aroma, very Sherry like but so balanced were the sweet fruityness with a few sour trones and with some nice oak tones in the finish.
medium body and carbonation is allmost nonexistant.
This is very good, allthough not for everyone and so so looking.
Quite Port like but quite amazing. How the balanced while keeping a nice complexity. beeryUK (26) - - DEC 2, 2014
