Tasting notes: Pours a black color with a dark red shine and a thick beige white head. Sweet complex aroma, malt, caramel, slight hint of alcohol, soft, creamy, slight vinious touch, dried fruit, interesting. Sweet big, fat flavor, malty, caramel, roasted nuts, gentle alcohol burn, subtle bitterness, long dry finish. Thick syrupy mouthfeel, very low carbonization.
Conclusion: A big, fat beer which is well matured and hides it high alcohol content quite well but lets you experience some of it, unfortunately the carbonization is a bit low but that isn’t unexpected from a high ABV barrel aged beer.
