Festival der Bierkulturen, Köln. Weinartiger, malzsüßer Geruch. Antrunk süß, kribbelnd. Mitte süß-ölig, likörartig, Pflaume, sehr opulent. Abgang schwer malzig, süß-ölig und leicht bitter. Alkoholisch nachwirkend. Sehr schönes Bier.

Swaroga (2221) - Warszawa, POLAND - JUN 2, 2012
50cl bottle. The color is dark brown, can’t see through, with very small tanned head. Nose : very sweet smell of tart (tiramisu like), there are some notes of dried plums and raisins. Toffee and dough. Wooden background. Sip : Medium body with oily feeling. Almost no carbonation. Deep sweet toffee taste mixed with alcohol. The alcohol is warming and balanced into a tasty overall flavor. The ending is quite bitter coffee like with smoked wood. Interesting beer. Careful about the alcohol because 50cl of 14% can be surprising.

Bottle (50cl). Lovely, dark mahogany colour, slightly hazy. Finger-thick light beige head that settles as a thick ring with some lacing. Rich, sweet aroma of dried fruits (fig, raisin), oak, malt, yeast, caramel, molasses. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Sweet woody and malty taste, balanced by a mild acidity and some bitterness. Finishes relatively dry. Quite easily drinkable on its own, but also nice with desserts.

LarsEngen (367) - Sandvika, NORWAY - JAN 12, 2013
50 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet enjoyed at home. Pours murky dark brown with a one finger brown head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, figs, raisin etc. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, light sourness and some salty aftertaste. Full body and a bit oily texture. Some alcohol warmness butt 14% is hidden quite well. Nice one
