Bottle... Pours nearly black with a mid-sized, fluffy, cafe con leche head. Great retention. Fruity, funky, earthy and malty - berries, caramel and fallen oak in both the aroma and flavor. Full-bodied with airy carbonation. The taste also offers a collection of bourbon heat, tannic bitterness and sour-cherry acidity flanked by a very light splash of pinot noir-based vinegar. Finishes bittersweet and dry.

Taste is very nice: bitter, lactic, long bitter fruit skin- almost fresh peach skin. Very good oud bruin. Oh yeah. No acetic, minimal lime citric bite/margarita mix nonsense. Sharp, fruit leather palate. I like.

Draft at Saison. Poured an almost blackish red with faint brown at edges, no head, looked more like a glass of red wine than a beer. Aroma was a big shot of good balsamic vinegar, with some tart cherry notes. Flavor was balsamic, cherry, stone fruit, and a vanilla finish. Complex and awesome. Extremely complex, offee, caramel, funk, slight sour, whiskey, fruits, tobacco, leather, but it is too complex perhaps and not sour enough.
