Poured from a 330ml bottle. Nose of tart cherries, chocolaty, malty, slight toffee. The flavor follows suit, cherries, toffee. So good.

(bottle, 33cl) Opaque, almost black coloured hue with a brown medium-sized foamy head. Acidic, vinegary and fruity aroma with notes of prunes, dark berries, raisins and delicately woody notes. Sour and moderately tart flavour with a tinge of residual sugar, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Delicately roasted malty taste with hints of liquorice, wood and present sour- and vinous fruity notes (prunes, morellos, dark berries); dry and lasting, moderately acidic and tannic finish with woody notes; toasty malt shows up again in the aftertaste. Very good! 06.X.13

Poured an 11.2 oz bottle into a tulip glass and it produced nearly nearly no head, just some rapidly dissipating bubbles. Dark cola brown in color with a slight burgundy highlight. The nose is incredibly fruity, with grape or dark cherry, alcoholic/ oak-y vapors (allergies keeping me from detecting much caramel or anything else.) The flavor is definitely tart, semi-dry... I say the best aspects of the burgundy played perfectly with a sour. Caramel definitely plays the back. Carb is on the livelier side. Completely delicious.

Olmost black with no real head - sour berry aroma - body has some malt and a trong sour taste with berries and some fruits - The sourness goes a long way into the finish - This was real nice

11.2oz bottle, shared by caterwaul. Bottle is labeled 8%, so I’m assuming this is the right entry. Dark brown / red color, almost black. Thin brown head. Decent lace. Nice nose. Oak, dark fruit, vinous, chocolate. Tannins. Nice bigger sour taste. Light sweet. Bigger body. Light, lightly soft carbonation. Sort of a sticky finish. Nice, sticky, dark fruity, vinous sour. Alden picked up a note of barbecue sauce, I can see that. Tasty stuff, but the Sun King Stupid Sexy Flanders we split immediately after was much more quaffable.

Color negro opaco, sin espuma. Aromas intensamente frutales y dulces. En boca muestra una acidez intensa. O sea, si te gustan las lambic, pruebala.
