UPDATED: FEB 3, 2018 Moderately opaque. Light bronze colour. Sparse and extremely bubbly head. Aroma is fruity and tart with blackberry and gooseberry. Taste is big and tart with an assortment of berries and a woody character. sjohnny (694) - - SEP 9, 2017
Tart sweet fruit. Brown sugar. A hint of wood. A hint of booze. Pours a dark murky cola color with some big bubbles on the top. Very sour. Wood. Tart fruit. The faintest bitterness on the very end. Otherwise pretty smooth.

Bizarre aroma. From the bottle, it kinda smells like a grilled burger - smokey, also sour, fruity, yeasty. Squat belgian nippleform 30cL bottle, bad label. Foggy, pinkish apricot brew. Sweet, sour, unpleasantly sour as it warmed. I didn’t like this one. Market Square gyllenbock (10314) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2017
Bottle. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Quite sour with grapefruit, oak, light vinegar, funk and some bread. The body was almost full. A decent one with a well hidden alcohol. ZodiacM (1390) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 10, 2017
LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Mooie sour. Licht funky met rode wijn in de neus. Smaak is mooi zuur, fruitig met rode wijn. Heerlijk!

(Draught at Antwaerps Bierhuyske, Antwerpen, 18 May 2017) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with grapefruit, unripe grapes and apricots. Fruity, tart taste with notes of grapes, grapefruit, citrus, oak wood, hints of vinegar and a vinous, slightly tart taste in the finish. Full body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and fairly well balanced for its strength. Nice one. (Unclear if it was the Bordeaux BA or St Emilion BA, but I’ll put it here for now.) Pours a slightly hazy rich orange gold with very little head. Aroma is very soft, with light citrus and red fruit. Somewhat funky on the palate, but well balanced with bready and tart flavors. Just very well balanced overall. nutjes (1378) - Zwevegem, BELGIUM - OCT 22, 2016

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2018 Draught at Rose Red in Bruges during Zwanze Day. Snow white, cobweb-lacing, irregular head consisting of large but steady bubbles, hazy peach blonde robe with orangey hue. Aroma of raspberry yoghurt, moldy lemon, grape peel, buttermilk, caramel, lots of overripe gooseberry, redcurrant, rhubarb, fresh fig, blackberries. Crisp, estery, very fruity onset, lots of ripe stonefruit, redcurrant and gooseberry with a sharper but thin, lemony acidity woven through, rhubarb accent, sweetish caramel malt core, soft lactic tartness throughout, yoghurty, drying along with some soft woodiness in the end, mouthfeel going from supple and smooth to ever more vinous in the end, vanilla-like oak hint, earthy touch, very juicy ending with lingering sour fruitiness. Full, lush and ’mouthwateringly’ juicy, clearly the wood treatment did the basic beer a lot of good. Enjoyed this a lot.
