RBSG 06. Very pale with white head. Aroma is clove, banana and pepper. Flavor is banana, bread and bubblegum. Medium body with bitter end. reakt (950) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Wild card choice from Utobeer. Labelled Blond Extra (with dryhopping). Hazy golden yellow with creamy white head. Nice thick layer till the very end. Lovely aroma. Lilac-coloured sediment. Light perfumey flower/grass aroma. Picked from a garden perhaps? The nose gives no indication of the taste. The soft, friendly aroma is a bluff. The taste hits you hard and it hits you fast. Strong, spicey notes of oranges and apricots with a salty dry finish. Rather bitter with a slight metallic taste. Interesting stuff.

(RBSG06, 33cl bottle) Hazy golden body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, herb, some dusky. Taste is medium sweet, herb, honey. Light-medium body, light chalk. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2006
Bottle, branded Extra Blond (with dry hopping) and bottled in January 2006 if the notches on the label can be trusted. It is hazy golden beer with a rather small head- more like a film-and quite a few few particles floating around. Hop aroma dominates, but there is spicy yeastiness as well. Notes of vegetables. Taste begins sweet, but is balanced by strange, spicy bitterness with notes of grass and vegetables. Dry finish, good mouthfeel. Points for originality, even if it is unlikely to be among my personal favourites. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - JUL 17, 2006
RBSG 06. Sour brett, full nose. Nice crispness on the tongue, sour upfront, finishes like a saison. Nice balance of belgian sugars, malt; hops slightly reserved. Nose suggests a heck of a lot more brett than actually ends up being present; ends disappointingly. jeffc666 (1984) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2006
Cloudy golden amber. White head. Flowers and citrus. Bits of spice, coriander. The flavor is a wallop of hops that are harsh and metallic. The alcohol is not well hidden and distracts overall and probably adds to the metallic notes. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2006
Bottle. hazy amber appearnace. Quite bitter, yeasty, and i will agree that there is a slight metallic edge. Citrus, flowery, slightly peppery.
