Bottled at the Struise farm. Cloudy golden, small head. Rich grassy aroma. Dry depsite some underlying ,alt sweetness. Medium bodied with grassy hops, grainy malt and winegum esters. Long salty bitterness. A very tasty, really hoppy Belgian ale.

I walked into work last weekend to find BDR filling a second glass full of foam from opening this one. Encouraging start... when it all finally settled down, we were left with a cloudy gold color brew with a formerly ginormous head. Very faint aroma of hops. The taste is quite floral and hoppy. Light Munich malt and a dry yeast finish.

11.2 Belgian grenade bottle, which began gushing out immediately upon opening. After getting it under control, it poured a thick, yeasty golden color with a large foamy head. Lots of hops come through in aroma and taste, but the creamy yeastiness keeps it highly drinkable. A very well done beer by one of Belgiums newest players.

Gushing bottle here ~ only lost a little though. Ends up hazy orange with a pillowy white head. The aroma has a lot of Belgium yeastiness, fruitiness, sweet malt and nice subtle floral hoppiness. Medium smooth body with lots of soft carbonation. The flavor starts with hops that are in no way subtle like the aroma. There is pine floral and earthy hops, but they are quite gentle. The malt and yeast are still very prevalent and add to the gentleness of the overall beer. There is also light fruit and a toasted sweetness imparted from the malt. The finish is spicy and piny with a beautiful lingering quality. Great beer.

Draught, Ma Che Siete Venuti a F, Rome, Italy. Light golden color. Full Head. Smells of Belgian character, with lemon, citrus-like american hops. Flavor is packed with Belgian character, american hops....hints of fruit and yeast. Lots of taste, authentic, unique and luscious. Quality ale.

Very good. Not a big belguim fan but i am ahop head. The chinook and amarillo really balaced out the belguim yeast flavor(usually what i dont like about belguims) Very well done

De sterke hoppereuk is aanwezig. Opvallend is de zoete fruitige smaak met een toets koriander en de bekende bitterheid van Alvinne tot in de afdronk

Very hazy golden beer, with a seriously frothy head that continues to grow after the pour - bright and fruity aroma of orange, mango, pear - strong earthy hops in the nose - belgian sugar sweetness mingles well with the fruit character - full but soft in the mouth - really powerful hop bitterness and strong herbal character - the character imparted by the belgian yeast takes a back seat, but adds some fruitiness and light phenolic character that combines really well with the hops and herbal notes - tastes like a really hoppy saison because of this - super tasty.
