330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Belgian Beer Weeks 2009)Dedollewaitor (16393) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2008
Aerosol air freshener aroma - floral. Lively carbonation. Big hoppy taste, but also very alcoholic. Finish is children’s sweets - sherbet - and alcohol. Too boozy, and the hops stand out as a gimmick.
33cl bottle bought at beerplanet, Bruxelles. Pours hazy orange with a creamy egg white head and lacings. Nose is yeast and hops, piney, floral and citrussy. Taste is yeast and hops. Fruity, floral, hoppy and bitter. Medium bodied. Crisp. Ends dry. A fine hoppy Belgium. MiP (15973) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2008
Bottle at ZBF08. Weak hop aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. Good bready aroma. Flavour is nicely hoppy with a little sweet breadiness. Good creamy mouthfeel and flavour. bhensonb (15768) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 14, 2008
Bottle from Wine & Cheese Place in (near) St. Louis, MO. What a gusher. Took two glasses to absorb it. Pours hazy light amber with a truly humongous light bubbly off-white head. Aromas include a lot of yeast, some citrus, and a little malt. Darn’d if it don’t seem a bit soapy. So what aroma soap, not sure. Medium body with rather smooth carbonation. Flavor is really spicy hop over malt. Rather peppery. Something like grapefruit rind. Slight burn down the gullet. This one is just so out of control. A bit of barnyard seems to be present. An exciting adventure from start to finish. Almost genteel after it settles down for awhile. Good ale. Really.

11.2 ounce bottle from Wine & Beer Westpark in Richmond, VA. The bottle has 2007 printed on it but also says restyled so I’m rating it here. Pours a hazy peach color with tiny floating particles. Large frothy head with good head retention and lacing. Bready, caramel aroma with strong citrus hops as well as peach and other fruity notes. Taste is bitter citrus hops, some bread. Medium bodied. bierkoning (13695) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2008
Bottle. Citrus and vanilla in the hoparoma. Firm citric, flowery, slightly perfumed flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Yeasty. Very tasty, but not very refined.
