330ml bottle, as IPA Extra, at Bier Central. Light golden body, unclear. White rocky head, almost gushing. Floral-fruity nose. Fresh fruity flavour with emphasis on oranges, yeasty notes beneath. Dry hoppy finish. Very nice with smooth drinkability (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011). Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 29, 2010
from crackedkettle.com - cloudy dark orange colour with a solid white foam left; nice lacework; yeasty and fruity (pear and grapefruit), spicy; juicy palate, quite full-bodied and very bitter, quite dry with an aftertaste of bitter oranges and a touch of almonds - very nice thewolf (12597) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2009
Bottle, bought @ De Molen Beershop.hopdog (12544) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 16, 2009
Pours clear coppery golden with a big, staying, frothy, off-white head. Peachy and fresh fruity aroma. Good hops, light caramel malt background. Medium carbonation, fine oily and lightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very citrusy, lots of peach, grapefruit, light caramel. Quite zesty as well with apple peel and grapes. Good dryish flowery and fruity bitterness in the finish. Good.
11.2oz bottle acquired in trade with SoLan (thanks!). Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a huge sized (5 finger) white head. Aromas of yeast, floral, some citrus, and spicy. Tastes of yeast, a little fruity, citrus, and spicy. Lively body. Sammy (12205) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2008
Recently brought back from State Line Liquors. Absolute bomb explosion of foam - it wasn’t moved in days. A third left in bottle of citrus IPA, and the foam not shot out. A lemonbalmy aroma with the fragrant Amarillo, a pleasing bitterness. Wish there was more. Good mouthfeel.

33cl fresh bottle at home. BB may 1st, 2011, sampled nov 5th 2009.
cap came off almost by itself with a huge POP , my hand was forcibly moved up from the bottle by the explosion. not much beer was spilled as i poured quickly, however, with more than half the beer in a glass fluffy head still lava’s out of the neck of the bottle. I advise the use of napkins, glasses and earplugs when opening this one.
Unclear orange with lots of debris of different sizes. very fluffy almost white but offwhite head.
nice bitterhoppy aroma, not very strong, but a lot more "american" than your usual belgian beer. A little spicyness too.
flavor is floral, spicy, bitterhoppy, as well as a little pine and grapefruity from hops. ends fruity and bitterhoppy.
I would’ve rated it a bit higher if it didn’t almost explode upon opening. Also looks bad with the debris and the fluffy head. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 5, 2010
330 ml bottle. From Germany (bierkompass.de). OKT2011. Lot 412.faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - SEP 5, 2009
Rediculous amout of foam coming out of bottle all over the place before I was even trying to pour it. Not very easy to pour or drink since it’s foaming a lot. Lots of yeast sediment as well. Hazy yellow colour with incredibly oversized foamy white head. Fruity hoppy bitterness combined with Belgian yeast and some caramel sweetness in aroma. Flavour is Belgian yeast, bitter hops, sweet caramel, malt and spices. Quite strong. Alcohol warming well present. Interesting mixture of well hopped ale and Belgian Ale. Good but not exactly the cream of the crop.
Botella, courtesy of Plovmand, thanks a bunch. Cloudy orange, nice creamy white head. Aroma of fruit and wheat with some spice. Good mouthfeel. Flavour of wheat and fruit with spice, pleasant bitter hoppiness and some yeast. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2009

Name: Extra IPA
Date: May 03, 2009
Appearance: big gusher with half the beer soaking into my pants, opaque orange, big off white head settles down in the time it takes to change pants
Aroma: sweet and fruity aroma with lots of spicy and floral hops, touch of orange citrus
Flavor: lots of hop flavor enhanced by spicy phenolics, balancing malty sweetness along with light fruity esters, lots of floral character, long bitter finish
Aroma: 6/10; Appearance: 5/10; Flavor: 6/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 12/20
Bottle from State Line. This one gushed greatly, and presented a hazy gold pour with massive amount of white head that retained itself well. The nose was hoppy, floral, with candi sugary malt in the nose. Flavor was malty, floral, hoppy, spicy, yeasty. A definite belgian style IPA with more of the emphasis on the rock sugar, dry florals, and funky notes and not as much emphasis on the pure hop bomb levels. Very nice.
