A Mes rate: Bottle at the Tom’s awesome Twickenham Brewery tasting.jcp23 (55) - Duluth, Georgia, USA - AUG 11, 2008
Cloudy yellow gold with a huge, foamy off white head. Very floral and grassy with some expected tropical fruit from the Amarillo. Tarty, bitter and very drinkable. Lovely fruity notes and an excellent bitter finish that has considerable length. Very good stuff.
Bottle into tulip. Understated yeasty, malty, mildly citric aromas. Bright, cloudy, light golden orange colour with moderate white head. Spotty lacing. Sediment swirling in the glass gently and rapidly fades into the body. Lip smackingly citrus hoppiness with notes of lemon and orange. Resinous oiliness holds together the hop complexities. Extremely drinkable with an easy, mild, very approachable mouthfeel. Delicately dry, bitter finish. Feels like drinking a fortifying fruit beverage that is healthful and rejuvenating. Like sunshine in a glass. Uniquely yummy - very nice! bhensonb (15098) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 14, 2008
Bottle from Wine & Cheese Place in (near) St. Louis, MO. What a gusher. Took two glasses to absorb it. Pours hazy light amber with a truly humongous light bubbly off-white head. Aromas include a lot of yeast, some citrus, and a little malt. Darn’d if it don’t seem a bit soapy. So what aroma soap, not sure. Medium body with rather smooth carbonation. Flavor is really spicy hop over malt. Rather peppery. Something like grapefruit rind. Slight burn down the gullet. This one is just so out of control. A bit of barnyard seems to be present. An exciting adventure from start to finish. Almost genteel after it settles down for awhile. Good ale. Really. BVery (10328) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 1, 2009
TAP: semi-cloudy blonde pour, belgian nose, fruit. Taste is spice, hop, yeast, cinnamon. Really good beer.

Slight hazy golden blond beer with great looking white head on top. Aroma is dry-malty with a green touch of hops and a slight citrussy bite to it. a light to medium golden-blond beer with a nice refreshing character and taste. Aftertaste is slight grassy but this beer is a good example of thirst-killing tasteful blond beer. Travlr (24319) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 20, 2010
Bottle of Extra Restyled Again at pre-ZBF 2010. Golden color, white head, large lacing. Aroma of pepper and hops. Very full body, bitter taste throughout. Nice. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - FEB 13, 2011
Herbal and floral nose with light honey and a touch of lemon grass. Moderately bitter taste, lightly sweet, with floral hops, some cotton candy and honey. Medium body with soft carbonation. JorisPPattyn (9929) - Ursel, BELGIUM - MAR 1, 2008
Good, persistent yellowish, fine head; over hazy orange beer, with an olive shine. Mustard seed, greenery, fresh malt, some hops. Extremely good forward C-hoppy taste, backed with just the right amount of cakey malts. Very dry finish, if some fusels. Medium bodied, slick, near chewy. AH! This is one Alvinne’s best tries. Probably the most straightforward Belgian IPA. DSG (14685) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 1, 2008
