Jerre (3829) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 1, 2011
Taste this end may 2011 @ brewery. From Bottle.
Dark brown color, with a creamy, beige head.
Aroma coffeu touch, bit roasted malts, liqourice notes.
Medium body.
Taste woody, roasted malts, bitterness. Dry ending.
Nice one, for a low alcohol beer.

(bottle, 33cl) Stout-like appearance: dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a brown and dense foamy head. Mildly sweet and roasted malty aroma with a touch of chocolate, dust and subtle fruity notes. Moderately bitter and slightly sour flavour, slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Slim roasty malty base with chocolate, liquorice and sourish berry notes towards the dry and moderately bitter finish. 24.VI.11

bottle @ Alvinne, thanks Glenn.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, licorice and citrus in the aroma. Thin, lemony yeasty tart flavor. Hints of ash. Surprisingly refreshing.

Bottle.Pours dark brown with a tan head.Aroma of cellar, dirt, old cheese and sour berries.Flavor is sour and sweet with some malt and dark berries.Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

Koelschtrinker (21835) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011

33cl, new brew Anno 2011, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, roasted and slightly sour, yet refreshing, balanced, hazy, small head, nice brew

Bottle, bought @ Alvinne Beershop.

Deep chestnut, bordering on black with a very lovely, creamy, beige head. Aroma is malty, liqourice, chocolate, a bit of cold coffee. Lowish carbonation, fairly nice creamy palate. Flavour is mild milky, some lactic notes, woody, roasted malts, dry and nutty bitterness. Some chocolate and good malty and dry coffee finish. Not excactly excited with the lactic tartness. Beside that, this would be a very nice brown ale.

ACBF. Hazy dark brown beer, no head. Light palate, no carbonation. Mild dark malt with traces of dark chocolate and coffee. Some minerals in the finish. A fresh but slightly dull beer.

Refrescante trago.Enjoyed on 05/04/11. Pours very dark amber color into my Tulip glass. Crown looks like milk & cofffe in color. Foamy thick layer, close & dense, fairly well lasting. Brief lacing ring. Fresh grass aroma, spices, pine & resin too. Toasted malt, grassy hop & complex herbal flavor with subtle coffee notes. Dark berries & coffee hints round a sour aftertaste. Surprising body for a low ABV beer. Average carbonation. Refreshing drinkability.
