Foam fills my big Tripel Karmeliet ‐glass and there is still beer in the bottle. Aroma has urinal cake, earthy notes, some lemon, grassy notes and hints of caramel. Flavour is sourish and tart with urinal cake, earthy notes, biscuits and hints of caramel. Definitely not your typical bitter – more like a Belgian ale. And actually quite close to Orval.
¡CUIDADO AL ABRIR LA BOTELLA! La espuma brotó como la lava de un volcán y puso la mesa y el suelo perdido. De color marrón claro y cuerpo espeso. Muy espumosa. Con espuma abundante y pegajosa. Olores a cítricos y pino. Sabor ligeramente cítrico con fondo amargo/malteado. Lo bueno: refrescante y con poco alcohol. BitchPls (808) - FINLAND - DEC 10, 2012
BEWARE! The head is a f*cking foam bath! It didn’t explode out of the bottle though. The aroma is soapy and smells a bit like a fart. The body is watery but there are pleasant flavors of citrus and pine needles from the hops. There’s plenty of crispiness from the carbonation. This is actually pretty damn good. visionthing (5298) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 10, 2012
33cl bottle from Varnaveien mineralvann, Moss. Pours slightly hazy golden with an enormous white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with citrus, spices and some yeasty (bretty?) and floral notes. Lightly sweet and fruity with a solid citrussy bitterness in the dry finish. Bitter aftertaste with grapefruity. Flavourful and refreshing. Hermod (7696) - Vantaa, FINLAND - DEC 2, 2012

(Bottle, Nuetnigenough, Brussels, 18 Oct 2012) Hazy golden colour with huge, white head. Spicy, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, earthy hops and slightly spicy yeast. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, spicy yeast, grass and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Light body, quite dry. Very nice hop character. The low abv makes this very drinkable. Nice one. teddybeer (3737) - Madrid, SPAIN - NOV 30, 2012
50clbottle. Hazy ornage colour with a frothy and large off-white head. Aroma is yeasty with citrus notes. Flavor is bittery, critrusy and moderate malty. Carbonation is very high. Body is medium. stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - NOV 19, 2012
Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2012. Pours an unclear and amber beer with a weak white head. The aroma is malt and sweetness. The flavor follows the nose with additional hops with citrus and grapefruit. The palate is bitterness. Overall an average beer. ladnewton (1937) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2012
Bottle at Nuetnigenough, Brussels on 12th November 2012. Hazy amber with white foam and spot lace. Richly hoppy aroma. Intensely hoppy in-mouth; grapefruit and orange zest are present, along with delicate spice notes. Thick hoppy finish with citric tang. Excellent flavour, and zingy mouthfeel. Fair body-to-strength ratio. lrothc (36) - Vantaa, FINLAND - NOV 9, 2012
Pours very cloud and with a huge white head. A bit of metal taste disturbs the whole balance.
