Hazy orange and light brown body. Rocky white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, pine, spruce and raw vegetables. The taste is beavy bitter and medium sweet.

Well this was the most wild gusher I have ever had to deal with. A medium explosion of beer upon opening then I poured mostly foam into the glass and the bottle continued to create a steady snake of foam coming from the 500ml bottle. I eventually got it to the kitchen sink after sucking the foam on the bottle to try to prevent the mess from getting worse and it continuespd to foam from the bottle for a minute or more until the head in the glass subsided to where I could add more. So the appearece after all of that is a hazy honey brown color with obviously a huge head that eventually with some patients can be a loose frothy tan head that falls to a lumpy mottled layer. the nose is some fruit, hints at tartness, some floral and citrus notes. The taste is a subdued malty beginning, then some fruit, hop bitterness with a lasting dry bitter ending. Body is very light with of course active carbonation but it is fairly smooth as it is not coursely structured. Overall fairly good though I’m not sure if it is worth it after my fiasco and loss of part of the bottle contents.

It’s time for Euro2012, and this time I’m starting it off with this bottle kindly provided by BelgBeerGeek. Thanks man! 0.33l bottle that’s slowly but consistently expanding by itself out of the bottle. When the massive fluffy off-white head has calmed a bit down, I can see that this one has a quite delicate but heavy murky glowing orange body with some big dark floaters at the bottom of the glass. It smells kinda Belgian with that lovely fruity yeast, sweet malts and some tones of forest, but it’s also quite hoppy. Not so much fruity hoppy, more bitter hoppy Quite nice. It lacks a bit in the depth, in other words a bit thin in the body with a light oily texture and it’s lively carbonated. Flavors are quite dry with lots of references to red berries and soft fruits. A bit stingy-hoppy as well, and I get tones of dry cones when drinking this. Definitely an interesting one this, and a great beer to kick of the Euro2012. 08.06.2012

Strange ale. Very very bitter, and a long aftertaste. But it’s only bitterness, no other flavours. Even a bit watery.

0.5cl bottle. Hazy orange , light amber. The head ... let’s put it this way; the bottle exploded and spoiled almost half of my beer on the floor. While pouring it into a glass, the head is big but it goes down quickly. Nose ; fresh and strong aromas overall. Fruity orange, some plum and the a dry aroma that reminds me Lambic. Little tart. Sip ; low density body with still lively carbonation. It’s quite dry from the start with distingtive hop bitterness on the end. It leave a dry spicy taste on the tongue. Strong spicy beer with dominating clove. Overall it is a very rich beer and amazingly full for the low alcohol.

Bottle at Nüetnigenough, Brussels, Belgium Saturday 28th April 2012 Hazy amber in colour with a white head. Quite like a British bitter, in its eminent quaffability, nice bitterness and low abv. Touch thin at times but the nice grapefruit fruity qualities kept me interested until the last glug. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3

Agradable bitter de baixa graduació. Amb la justa cremositat, amargor i postgust. Molt recomenable per combatre la calor.

33 cl bottle - pours hazy beige-yellow, foam gushing out og the bottle and head is persisting in the glass. The nose is a lot of "’t putteke" (let’s say very earthy and raw aromas) with some fruitiness (pineapple). Light body with decent carbonation - fresh taste al over with nice bitterness in the end. ALthough very strange in the nose, this is yet acceptable given the low ABV.

Bottle 33 cl from Willems - Grobbendonk (B). Golden amber with huge white foam, completely decorating the glass with laces, dull crackling. Sour flavors, lactic yeast, malt, hop-citrus, fruit-rhubarb. The taste is well bitter, dry, malted, grain, yeast and earthy and grapefruit hops. Slightly thinnish. Long finale, dry on the bitterness.
