2016 vintage 4.5% from International Beer Collector Hazy orange body, creamy white head. Bready aroma - grains, dough, peppery spice, touch of orange marmalade in there. Medium body, slightly creamy texture, not as dry as a saison generally is. Sort of orangey & pear-like fruit character, spicy, grainy, fairly bitter, slightly rustic. Interesting brew - sort of part Saison, part Witbier.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 330ml bottle (Pien, Helsinki) (6:2:5:3:11=2.7)
Gusher - fuck that shit. Cloudy pale orange scummy head. Spicy Alvinne fingerprint to the aroma, funky, wheatish. Perfumey taste, sweet, light wheaty grains, floral, some funk, yeasty. Lightish palate, crisp carbonation. Finish pleasantly bitter but earthy, and a bit dirty with yeast. Something doesn't quite work. Apart from gravity failing to keep it in the bottle. Bad Newton, bad.

LCI. Van de tap @Kaapse Brouwers. Licht-zurig, houttonen aanwezig, licht-fruitig.
