Bottle at home. Bit of a gusher in classic Alvinne style. Deep golden with some little particles drifting around. Some funk, sweet malts and toffee, hay, lots of fruit skins, grapefruit, marmalade. Really massive bitter herbal and grassy hops. Over medium sweet, light sour and very bitter with a long lasting puckering bitter finish.
Over medium bodied with soft oily feel. It’s interesting, but the bitter finish is a bit over the top. There’s a huge contrast between that and the nice aromas. Borup (15345) - Albertslund, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2016
33 cl. bottle. Hazy orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, hops, malt, spice, caramel and fruit. JanEric (1246) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2016
Belgian style IPA, that means is this beer: lots of bitterness, but no hoparoma alomost though. I prefer not too drink this one again if i han choose between this one and a real IPA. ForlornHope (536) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2016
Bottle at home. Another gusher! Pour is cloudy orange amber with a thin white head and lots of sediment. Lots of funky hop with a slightly sour edge. Sweet to start then hugely bitter. Rich malty base, citrus orange and candy sweet. Dry finish. Not sure about this one. SinH4 (6259) - Garching b. Mnchen, GERMANY - FEB 11, 2016
Hazy dark orange color with tan white head. Aroma is lots of floral and citrus hops, bread, spicy yeasts, a bit dusty. Taste is the same, very bready, dry bitter finish. 8% not noticeable. The bitterness feels a bit medicinal. Rather high carbonation. Quite extreme. Both aroma and flavours have a touch or Orval character, but drift off in a completely different direction.

Van ‘t vat. Oranjekleurig bier met dunne witte schuimkraag. Geur: bitterig, kaneel. Smaak: Bitter – zoetig – zurig met een vreemd vuil aards randje, wel leuk, doet me denken aan een Ierse whiskey. Bitterig – zurige afdronk. Svesse (8803) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 7, 2016
(Bottle, Nuetnigenough, Brussels, 17 Oct 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fair amount of yeast sediment in the bottle. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of white bread, grassy hops and some yeast. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, grass, citrus, a touch of yeast and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, with a generous grassy hop character. Nice one. vipinvelp (4541) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2015
Bottle @ Rootz. Light orange (although quite dark in Rootz), no foam at all. High hoppy aroma and very bitter (118 IBU). Not that great in taste. (The Hague 201512) Hanoi (974) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2015
Bottl. Nose is funky, yeast, perfume, strawberry, hint of grape, hops, dust, hint of tobacco leaf. Taste is hops, peach, funk, hint of summer fruits, leading to a herbal, meidicinal, pine and funky finish. Hints of citrus with lots of lime in the body, grapefruit emerging.
Complex and interesting, but as with all the Alvinne, beers I’ve tried, they are all interesting, but I never love them, veceo (1361) - Pula, CROATIA, - DEC 26, 2015
Cloudy orange color, huge white head, coffee like creaminess and simply refuses to go away. Aroma is fruity, winey, obviously wild. Nothing special. Taste is really tarty, winey, some fruitiness. Not that interesting really. That wild yeast is kinda overpowering and not in a good way.
