bierkoning (13689) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2010
Bottle from bierkompass.de. Orange color, hazy. Melon, grassy hops and citrus in the aroma. Firm oily citrus and hopbitter flavor. White pepper dominating the fruity esters. Long aftertaste. Good! caesar (7286) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2010
Bottle @ Pre ZBF. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma of hop, grapefruit. Bit sweet taste. Bit too much carbonation, which fizzles the bitterness away. skortila (5987) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - APR 14, 2010
Bottle @ Pre ZBF. The aroma has distinct hop character. Lots of grapefruits. hazy, orange coloured beer with a lasting head. The taste is moderate bitter, little sweet with grapefruit hops mainly. Dry finish, Medium bodied. Good. harrisoni (19341) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2010
Bottle at Pre ZBF 2010. Pretty good, all need more malt base on these single hop beers. Hops are excellent though, quite leafy and the hop character on the Centennial and Colombus both come through well. NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - MAR 27, 2010
Had this one at the Pre-ZBF 2010. Red colored brew. Hoppy aroma, centennial indeed. Fruity and hoppy flavor.

Hazy, glowingly orange beer under dirty orangeish head, stable, fed by lively carbonation and leaving lacey rings. End of bottle fully hazy. Spicy & citrussy hops, grapefruit immediately wafting up. Peppery, and a banana-like ester, making me think of a Hefeweizen with US hops. Quite bitter, but in a dry, good way. If anything, this beer tastes like a best bitter UK style on steroids. In the aftertaste, the hopoils come out with a vengeance. Very carbonated MF, but even with the dry hoppiness pretty refreshing. Oily texture, medium bodied. Very refreshing, satisfying beer. As said, more a bottled super-bitter to me, than an I(I)PA. cgarvieuk (25992) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 22, 2010
Pre-ZBF ... hazy amber ... soft fruity hop nose ... sharp hop ... bitter soft fruits .. little dull. BoBoChamp (5878) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 12, 2010
75cl, new brew Anno 2010, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex bitter brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, cloudy, good head, good brew Fin (10917) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 10, 2010
Had this at Pre ZBF March 5th 2010 Pours warm gold, tangy with some citrus bursting through, bit of marmalade, a little hoppy sting, leading to some roof of the mouth bitterness. Its absolutely fine but much like the Simcoe it just doesn’t have the authority that I expected and dare I say it was a little thin. Bottle @ Proefzolder. Hazy copper colored beer, thick white head. Resin aroma. Of the trilogy I found this one more sprucy. Heavy bitter. Good.
