Bottle at ACBF 2011. Clear red pour. Aroma of cherries, very fruity. Flavor is slightly sour and slightly sweet. Nice balance. Very fruity and very smooth brew. Well drinkable. Low carbonation.

translucent dark red, thin cream white head. Nose is sweet, heavy cherry with light Cinnamon and faint squash. Flavor similar but less spice, more cherry dominance, bit sticky and lightly seedy in lengthy finish. Too thin, needs more carb. Nice, spiced nose, flavor could use a bit more variation, bit of oak in finish.

Bouteille 75cl, 63/250, lot 391, bb fev 2015. Couleur rougetre/rubis, mousse beige. Arme a de profondes notes de cerises tout en gardant cet aspect de ft de Bourgogne. Laigreur des cerises se ressent ainsi que le bois qui st voqu par le chne. En bouche, une bire facile boire de 5.5% avec une couche de cerises acidules qui nest pas trop dsagrable au palais, une fine carbonation qui se mlange au bois et un du Bourgogne qui reste bien en retrait tout en laissant une fin de touche de vignoble. Mon seul regret pour cette bire reste un peu le mutisme du ft de Bourgogne qui a un peu dur se faire prsent.

Draft at Maxs. Bright red pour with an orange tint. Slightly opaque. Sour aroma with oaky notes. Creamy and vanilla. Dry tart flavor with lemon and citrus peel. Tartness lingers on the back of the throat. Nice easy to drink beer.

2009 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazed ruby red body with a tan head. Aromas are big and vinous with fruit, berries, tartness, wine, caramel, leather and strawberries. Flavors are much less tart, but very vinous with caramel, berries and wine. Lively bubbles.

(750ml bottle, BB Feb 2015) Pours a murky dirty blood red body with a spare off-white head. Aroma of cherry, yogurt, vinous, barnyard, red currants, wet leather, and wood. Flavor of cherry, Bourgogne tannins, earth, and lacto with a dry wood finish. Excellent.

Trade from Madmitch, thanks. 2009 vintage. Hazy red body with a small light red head. Aroma is sourish, berries wood. Flavor is dusty, dry, cherries and oak. Very drinkable.
