Bottle at CPK thanks to Thomas. Pours a slightly cloudy, bloody-ruby with no head. Aroma is all cherries and wood, slightly dank and funky. Light to medium sweet flavor, mild cherries and fruit, moderate sourness, some wood, a little stinging funkiness. Light to medium in body with soft carbonation. Finish is lightly dry with a wonderful, restrained sour character, nice wood, aged cherries. Very solid beer. fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2011

Beautiful red-dark amber color; medium sized compact head. Aroma of cherry stones, then soap, light vinegar, caramel and cream; very interesting. The body is very thin, the mouthfeel dry and acidic; there is some light, dry caramel flavor, with light cherry flavor, some vinous character, fruits (grapes and plums). The final is a bit astringent and sour, dry, with light tones of roasted nuts.
Gelungen! 9/11/11/11/11/11

At ACBF 2011. Red colour clear no head no real carbonation. Some wood over the cherries on the aroma. You know it has more structure than regular Kerasus but I love the sheer vibrancy of the fruit on the original. Tasty though TBone (17786) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 19, 2010

Hazy nut brown-reddish color, small off-white head. Sour fruity nose, tart fruityness probably from red grapes (Burgundy) together with sour cherries. Red wine is really evident in the flavor, red grapes and cherries mixed with sourness in nice balance. Very wineous with hints of vanilla. Lingering tart fruityness in the aftertaste. One of the best red wine barrel aged beers I’ve tasted.
Bottle @ Odense Tasting, Jan 2011. Thank you HallingHansen. Pours cloudy pink with a creamy white head on top. Cherries/berries and a bit of marzipan and oak in the nose. Sweet. Vaguely tart and refreshing flavor with oak and cherries. Smooth and really tasty. Scopey (15272) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2011
On tap at CP&K at Alvinne meet the brewer night. The nose is sour cherry, sweet strawberry, metal and nettles. The taste is tart cherry, granny smith apple, lemon sherbet, egg and farmyard. It’s really smooth, slightly astringent and has a long dry finish. Another top quality sour ale from Alvinne. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2010
