Draft at 2011 Max’s Belgian Fest at 2008 Oak Kerasus: Pours a transparent dark copper mahogany with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Has a semi-sweet toasty caramel and light fruity tart nose with some vinous oak. Starts with average fullness and light carbonation with some oily texture and light caramel and fruity tartness. Finishes drier and oaky with some lingering vinous flavor. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2011
@ ACBF. Aroma is winey brett sourness.
Flavour is deep winey brett, quite smooth sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 21, 2010
(Bottled, 0.75l) Murky dark red with a small pink head. Mildly tart cherry nose with the "strawberry ice cream brett mix" still evident. Quite mild cherry flavor with faint tartness and a peachy-mushy brett touch. Almost medium body, lowish carbonation. Still not very convincing after the barrel treatment - lacks tartness and body. 4254 harrisoni (19535) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011
At ACBF 2011. Red colour clear no head no real carbonation. Some wood over the cherries on the aroma. You know it has more structure than regular Kerasus but I love the sheer vibrancy of the fruit on the original. Tasty though Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2010
Draught at Pre-ZBF 2010. Clear deep reddish - white head. Cherry, oaked, grainy, cereal, vineous, tartness, high fruity, high red berries, light glue, light soapy, thin body, light acid, light sour notes, light lacto. OK.
