Tap at the Gingerman. pours rusty burgundy with this soapy head. Tastes of oak, cherry, berry, and Pinot. It’s tart but not too sour. Some Pickering finish and clings to roof of mouth. Enjoyable Scopey (16273) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2012
Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brussels. It pours cloudy red, with a thin off-white head. The nose is farmyard, cherry, red grape and vinegar. The taste is tart cherry, lemon, red apple and red grape, with a pleasantly tart finish. Light to medium body and fine, sort carbonation. Light, smooth and refreshing. Not particularly complex, but massively drinkable. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2012
On draft at brick store. Pours a murky brown pink with a creamy off white head. Nose is wood, vinegar, malt, & tart fruit with cherry. Flavor is similar with a medium to full body and all kinds of awesome.

Bottle - 750ml (Vintage 2009). Hazy amber/ruby body with a thin off-white foamy head. Fresh, well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with strong cherry hints. Taste carries cherry and some woody notes. Ends with a sharp hoppy, sour finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at Churchkey yesterday. Served in a mini snifter.
Pours ruby with almost no head. There’s a strong note of cherry and a bit light oak. Faint lactic acid there as well, though this gets quite a bit stronger in the flavor. Moderate cherry in the flavor. Light body and some moderate carbonation. Tart cherry and dryness in the finish. Quite tasty. blankboy (7884) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 20, 2011
My bottle [330ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus. 2009 vintage. Pours a murky copper-red with pink hues and an average size diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma of sour cherries, light spices, some wood, citrus and vanilla. Flavour’s quite tart along with light spices, slightly sour cherries, some sweetness and wood. Average bodied. Pretty good, I quite enjoyed it. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 12, 2011
A: The beer pours a murky amber/red color with a small off-white head.
S: An interesting blend of cherry pie and raspberry. There’s a bit of vinegar and lemony tartness. A mild malt aroma and sweetness, perhaps some oak and grass, too.
T: Sweet cherry pie and vinegar flavors dominate this one. It’s a very simple beer, but very sour. There is also a fair bit of lemon and perhaps some light raspberry notes to it.
M: Medium in body with low to medium carbonation.
O: Very sour and acetic, but overall pretty nice. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2011
On tap at Churchkey. Cloudy burgundy pour. Nose holds BIG balsamic vinegar, tart plums, slight almond sweetness, lots of dark fruit, and vinous notes. Flavor holds big tannin, wine, and even a touch of roast in there? Very tart and quite sour. I like it. garthicus (2962) - Dublin, IRELAND - SEP 5, 2011
Thanks to Blankboy. Appearance: Ruby red, cloudy, tiny white head. Aroma: Funky, sour, some ’blue cheese’ notes too, cherry, tart. Flavour: Very tart, sour, under-ripe cherries, sweet with a good long sour finish.
