Bottle 33cl.yespr (48931) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2009
Clear medium to dark red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white pink red head. Aroma is cherry sour, cheer sauce. Flavor is moderate sweet and sour - acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark red with a small pink head. Dry almond cherry dense aroma. Dry cherry and no sweetness with a distinct almondish note. Dry cherry flavoured finish. Simple and presumeably a great thirstquencer on a warm Summer day. The Struise Keralensis blend certainly gives this a lot more body.

Cloudy dark red beer, apologetic pink head. Sourish nose with a touch of fruit. Light palate, slightly dry. Pretty low carbonation. Tart and fairly sour, just the right side of being lemon acid. Finishes semi dry and with Morello Cherry coming to the fore. A palate cleanser but a bit tart.
Dark maroon color, slightly thin, with a two bubble head that disappears quickly.
Aroma is of chocolate covered cherries and roasted malts, some vanilla in the background.
Flavor has more cherries than beer, with a slightly sour finish.
Body is a bit on the thin side, but decent.
Nice brew, but needs better balance. The 2009 batch was made with cherry mash - the batch brewed for release in 2010 was made with whole cherries, and should be a considerable improvement.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Hazy purple/ruby, faint head. Tart, lemony cherry aroma. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Sweet ripe cherries against a tart, almost vinegary background. Slight tanninic cherry stone bitterness. Some lovely flavour/aroma components, but a little hard/edgy.
