Hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth, slightly soft and a little viscous. Semi dry. A little toffee and malt cream. A little dried fruits and a touches of spice and wood. Mellow sweet sherry and dessert wine. Semi dry finish. Pretty drinkable.

bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 28, 2014
(backlog ZBF 04/2013) from the DSB/Alv. tap train. An amber sour clocking in at 13%, a worthy closer for Day1. Morbidly sweet plum and rotten peach made interesting by a suave velvet yeast, producing gorgeous rich lateral esters and practically no burn whatsoever. Impressive taste implosion in a category not quite my style.

Acid303 (674) - Barcelona, CATALONIA, - MAR 14, 2013
On tap at Barcelona Beer Festival 2013. Small Pint (20cl). Amber-red colour with an off-white creamy head. White grape and sugary malts on the nose. Pretty much the same regarding taste, fruity, with a lot of sweetness derived from the blend Moscatel + malt. Balanced by the wood and the alcohol. Medium/creamy mouthfeel, good carbonation. Really unique.
