Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with medium, light brown, semi-densed head. Poor head retention and lacing. After opening little gushing. That’s quite regular for Alvinne beers. Funky, woody aromas with quie strong vinous/vinegar and fruity notes, also some vanilla and mineral notes. Taste is little sour, medium bitter - mainly form barrel. Medium body, semi-thick texture, lively carbonation, finisj is very astringent, mineral and woody, noticable alcohol warming. In general very too lively for stout, weird sensations (mineral notes, astringent) not regular for bourbon BA, but still interesting beer - something different. Bottle at Craigs. Gusher! Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of bourbon, light apples, booze. Taste is light bourbon, light apple, vanilla. Boozy finish. I’d like to try the original to work out whether this is fecked by the barrel or not. Stuu666 (13007) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 10, 2015

M-A-S-S-I-V-E G-U-S-H-E-R, as expected from these guys (these batches?). almost spoiled my whole dinner when opening this at the dinner table, luckily still had a quick reaction time to instead spoil the floor, great way to start. despite all of this, the beer is still quite ok, but for the premium price they ask for this, it is really not ok. bottle 50cl / bbf nov-2017
