75cl bottle at Bruce’s, thanks to Paul. It pours a deep dark brown colour with a huge beige head. Big gusher. Aroma is intense red berries, cherries, wood and oak. Chocolate as well. Taste is sweet acidic with a quite bitter finish. Cocoa and nuts with some dark fruits. Mouthfeel is full with good carbonation. Overall, very very good. zinneke (207) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 27, 2015

Flaske hos Ole Anders juni-13: flott skum og vinø s aroma og smak. Et deilig øl med stor smak, men ikke et av livets vippepunkter. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2013
Bottle @ RBESG’13 Grand Tasting @ De Molen: Served in a Molen taster: Thanks for sharing 77ships:
Some brown beige creamy small head/thicker lacing on top of a deep dark brown to black colored beer.
Aromas of brett, bourbon, cream, roast, light vanilla. Soft and smooth.
Flavours of roast, tar, bitter, coal, some hay roast, some spices, some cream, coffee, bitter and a hint of dark fruit.
Aftertaste is bitter, coal, malt/wood burn and liquor.
Low carbo, soft creamy slight silky mouthfeel, full body and a creamy thicker light oily texture.
Very smooth, unfortunately no real bourbon notes, except for the aroma. But it’s an enjoyable beer.

Bottle, bought @ Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Pours completely black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has plenty oak, roasted, lots of vanilla, quite astringent. Highish carbonation, dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet chocolate, lots of vanilla, cocoa powder dryness, coffee, mild astringent. Vinious and quite warming. The astringency is still there, but remains balanced by alcohol and oak. Lingering, quite heavy malty dryness. Yum. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - APR 14, 2014
500 ml bottle at home. Pours black with a tiny tiny tiny head. Incredibly mellow Maker’s Mark (or Wild Turkey?) nose: vanilla, sweet chocolate, sweet cherries, and the nicest ever coffee aroma. Light body with medium sweetness and weird sour notes. The initial malt base seems a bit too light for the cask strength which renders the taste rather akward. Once a bit warmed up, the beer reveals a subtle yet unique balance... Bontus (800) - Flanders, BELGIUM - MAY 22, 2014
Half litre bottle, pours black, small head. Chocolate & coffee nose, Something nutty and a sour finish (yeast?). Bourbon modestly in the picture. WaW (17) - BELGIUM - MAR 27, 2015
Very interesting beer, nice full flavor, soureness is perfectly in balance here. The bourbon/booze is maybe a little overwhelming but this is nonetheless, a great beer. DwarfeD (3513) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2015
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2015 50cl bottle at home; quite a gusher. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Full body with moderate carbonation. Sweet, bitter and sour tones. Dark chocolate, green apple, roasted malts, ripe fruits, raisin and herbs. A tasty strong brew.
