Black with small fading dark tanned head. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, soft roast. Taste is first dark malts, chocolate, roast and when you don’t expect it anymore the burn and some taste of the chilli comes up. Much better than fresher. The tastes are much better mixed when it’s aged, where in a fresher one, it has a bit too much "vegetable" feeling.

Tøøøøør, varm og stærk, mørke kirsebær, lidt fersken, men også sur som sur rødvin. Tørret ud som om gæren har dræbt al sukker (er også mindst 2 år gammel, så...)

Pours black, small grey head. Smell is dark malts, bit peppers. Some oak characters. taste is sharp, peppers, some mils red wine. heat builds up towards the aftertaste. On the virge of too much, but just , barely, pushing the border, making it very intense and just interesting ! Not too hot to take a second sip, but for sure hotter than the average beer !

50cl bottle from Slowbeer, Melbourne. If you have ever had a Belgian-style Flanders Oud Bruin before then you will recognise the woody red wine vinegary aromas in this stout combined with the red chilli notes and roasted malts. Flavour is similar with the chilli spices noticeably coming through at the end of the palate. A soft spicy chilli heat lingers long after the swallow. It’s rich and boozy but I reckon the chilli wasn’t needed. It would have been fine without. It pours matt black with a medium beige head that laces nicely.

Nose shows lots of chilli and smoky savoury notes alongside some funky Brett.
Flavours include more funky Brett, soft red wine, big chilli heat and faint roast.

[ As Alvinne Mano Negra Chili Stout (Bourgogne Barrel) ].
Clear red - brown color with a small, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light earhty, berry and pepper notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, roasted, earthy, chili, chili - tabasco burn. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 
Bottled 500ml. -at Tolkien’s House Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized beige head, soft sourish spicy nose with whiff of alcohol. Roasted malt, distinct barrel character, well balanced alcohol presence, chocolate mousse with chili powder...and this is it..."the chili stout" to talk about. Also light burning chili/alcohol mix in the finish and aftertaste. One of the best (or the best) chili beers so far. 50 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is herbal chili and dark roasted malty. Bitter, roasted dark malty and solid chili. Bite into the finish. Dry and dark malty. Herbal and roasted dark malty finish.
