Palme (4817) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 2, 2012
On tap @ Borefts 2012. The last beer @ Borefts 2012. Random that it’s this one really. It has a lovely glowing plum-red colored one with a small bubbly just off-white top. On the nose it’s sweet and caramel fruity. Strong frozen and concentrated strawberries with some cherries-like fruitiness. Quite nice. Strong and some what, no make that really warming! Oh! Boozy-strong with loads of alcohol! Al$ost burning my throat swallowing this. Light fruity as well with a soft lemonade hint. To boozy and warming to really enjoy. 30.09.2012

Cerveza con bastante sabor y aroma a Bourbon, quizá demasiado. El sabor a alcohol es inevitable. Muy rica.

sebletitje (10287) - Enghien, BELGIUM - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle sample @ 19de Internationale BierHappening, Zottegem. Thanks Glenn.

77ships (10810) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 14, 2012
500 ml. bottle sampled @ 19de Nationale Bierhappening: pours an orange / darker amber, little head - smell is very impressive, sweet caramel, honey, bourbon, berries, sugar,... - taste is sweet caramel, toffee, warming bourbon, vanilla, thick malts, sugar, apples, some dark fruits, serious honey, light booze in the back - belgian strong ale / barley wine hybrid - creamy, lightly syrupy body, way better than expected an base beer - this is sweet Belgian goodness

jackl (8300) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Keg @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s light hazy golden orange wwith a small head. The nose is of apple cider, some sweet bourbon and a splash of wood barrel. Forest fruit sweetness. The taste is soft apricot, more berry, borbon and caramel. Vanilla flavors. Boozy but not oppressively so. A restrained barrel treatment. Pretty tasty stuff.

Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Cloudy copper with no head. Aroma of dried fruit, with laquer, alcohol and a funky touch. Sweet, funky and yeasty flavour
