Bottle. Copper color, virtually no head. Aroma of vanilla and raisin. Taste is sweet at first, with vanilla and raisin, after that the bourbon kicks in with some mildly sharp booze, some bitter hops in the finish as well. Nice, but a bit thin, could use more depth in body and flavor. Zekada (427) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - JUN 10, 2015

Tasted at the first, great, Borefts Beer Festival 2009 @ De Molen. Golden colored brew. Malts, bourbon in the aroma. Flavor is bourbon and oak, malts some fruits. Nice. Ungstrup (37677) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 3, 2010
Bottled. A hazy golden with a bit of sediment floating around under a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of brettanomyces, wood, stable, and lemon - reminding me of a gueuze. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, brettanomyces, wood, and citrusy hops as well as light notes of bourbon, leading to a lightly bitter finish. A very delicate beer. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 28, 2012

ZBF Festival 2013 - Pale brown. The initial impact of this one is it’s thin body and lack of carbonation. The warming bourbon/alcohol is very prominent and also gives some vanilla sweetness to and increasingly dry finish.
