teddybeer (3782) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 27, 2015
Hazy brown color, minimal and quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma has yeasty notes with light caramelish hints. Flavor is mild sourish, notes of barrel and yeast. Yeasty final with a light alcohol presence.

BlazerT (1105) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - NOV 14, 2015
Bottle. Sensoric. Reddish with small, white head. Poor head retention, poor to medicore lacing. In the first row barrel aromas - oaky, little vanilla hints, but mainly vinous and funky. The vinous character is strengthen by noticable alcohol sensations. In the second row some light candy-like aromas with medium caramel notes. Taste is not so sweet, as it should be in regular barley wine. The sweetness is broken by vinous acidity. Medium to full body, thick and sticky texture, average carbonation, finish is vinous and semi-sweet with slightly alcohol warming. In overall barley wine enchanced by strong oaky and vinous notes with some characteristical Morpheus yesty character.

4th February 2015
Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry. Mild fine carbonation. Winey start, a sweetish and fruity wine. Dry mid. Mild spice and a little woody bitterness. Light dry finish. Goes down easy despite it being a tad over dry.

KoNrRiI (1512) - Århus, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2014
0.5 bottle. Hazy, light brown color an a small beige head. Very refined aroma of fruits, wine, vinegar, hints of oak, and a delicate glue in the end. Taste is sweet and sour but magnificent: quite a lot of wine, some fruits, delicate malts, and wood. Full body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is sweeter, also full of vinous flavors but here the oak barrels shine through with all their grace. Overall a superb beer, highly recommended to everyone; it’s only flaw - slight acidity.

Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2014
Sampled from bottle @ ChrisO after GBBF day 3. Slightly unclear dark orange color, small beige head. Smell and taste winey, quite fruity, wood, some alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.

3.3
Ferris (15275) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 14, 2014
Bottle - Whit wine vinous notes, light tartness, caramel sweetness and some light candy sugar. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Lots of vinous notes and sourness with some sweet caramel. Very much dominated by the barrel and not at all a barley wine.
