Mofo gushy bastard! Sort this shit out Alvinne! Murky brown beer, fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and very slightly viscous. Sweetish malts and spice to start. A winey fruity tangy mid. More dry spice. Candy sweets and light touches of gueuzey wet wood and floralness. Airy dry finish. Certainly tasty if a little muddled.
Boozy malt aroma. Reddish colour. Barleywine with gummy spicy backing. Peachy colour.

On tap at The Birch. Pours a lightly hazed amber with a thin white head. Soft floral notes on the nose, wood and sweet floral grapes. Beautiful. Medium bodied, gentle sweetness, again floral, warm malt and a bit of alcohol. Sweet and warm, toast and caramel toffee candies. Lingering warmth on the finish with a bit of wood and again floral sweet touches, warm chewy yeast. Balanced and lovely. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - OCT 25, 2014
Bottle shared by beerlover_ben. Pours cloudy dark orange. Rich nose of nuts and raisins, caramel and sherry (due to the evolution). Full body, sticky & sweet mouthfeel, rich flavours of dates, sun-dried grapes and caramel malt. Yummy!
