Bottle thanks to Bob. Clear golden with a very large off white frothy head. Dust, sweet overripe fruits, bread, dark dried fruits, warming alcohol. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, medium sweet with some bitterness, fairly hot on the alkehol. Alcoholic finish. Ok, but a bit too hot for me.

Likeurachtige body. Smaken van appelsien(likeur), gist, eik, beetje boozy. Warme, licht alcoholische, afdronk. Tintelt op het tandvlees. Licht bittertje in de afdronk. Jammer van de gusher want dit is een prima bier. Had wel een heel flesje kunnen opdrinken...

Bottle. Amber color with ample head and lots of sediment. Perfumey smell with some tart cherry cough syrup. Dry but floral. A bit odd.

JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - NOV 30, 2016
Golden to amber color. Taller, fairly stable off-white head. Some small chunks and swinkles afloat in the sea of tiny bubble nucleation. Rather heavy sweet aromas with lightly toasted malt and dough. Some hints of light fruit and alcohol. Sweet candi start, touches of malt and hops work their way in. Quite bitter in the finish and into the linger with an interesting mix of overripe and under-ripe fruit. Just noticed that this is 11%, really quite well hidden. 6/11

Botella 33 cl en el kraken octubre 2015. (r292).

Lekker bier. Uiterlijk is wat smoezelig door het gist.

Piany praktycznie brak. Barwa herbaciana, lekko mętna. Aromat ciekawy, głównie słodowy, karmelowy, kandyzowany i estrowy - rodzynki, dojrzałe winogrono, głóg, w tle słodkie wino typu porto, sherry. W smaku półsłodkie i jednocześnie winne, delikatnie też taninowe i cierpkie. Generalnie powtórka smaków z zapachu, dość lepkie, pełne, nisko wysycone w odbiorze. Goryczka niska, ziołowo pestkowa, alkohol w likierowej formie, rozgrzewa, raczej nie przeszkadza.
Piwo przyjemne w aromacie, przez połączenie cukru kandyzowanego z lekko kwaskową winnością odrobinę męczące w smaku. Ogólnie ciekawy eksperyment.

ZodiacM (1160) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 12, 2016
Poured from the bottle. Hazy yelloe-amber beer with a small head. Malt and sour cherry in the nose, malt, sour cherry and alcohol in the mouth. Good, different strong ale from this brewery famous for it’s sour beers.
